17     Until into camp they all did come
And forgot in pleasant dreams Their laborious voyage and loss by fire On the way to Sandy Stream.
18     Now we are safely landed
And patiently do we wait For the blue etherial vaults of heaven To open their flood gate.
19     May the rain come down in torrents
All with the morning gleam, And keep the foaming waters up While we drive on Sandy Stream.
20     Three cheers lor our employer,
All dangers he does scorn; He fears no ills, he pays his bills, And things go merrily on.
21      With this faint attempt at poetry
I '11 now conclude my song.
